Mini craypots

Was wondering how those small slat craypots go? Usually use the normal size slatties but am thinking about trying the smaller model. Anyone had any decent seasons with them?

Small craypots
Boppo,
We tried them here in Kalbarri last year, you need a lot of weight to keep them from moving around on the bottom as the floats (2) will drag them around with the wave action. They were easier to handle on the boat, I would say the 3/4 pots with steel base caught reasonabley well and were easier to handle than the professional type pots.
So my recommendation is the 3/4 pots but with enough weight to prevent them moving around.

Mini Pots
Hey Boppo,
Give Dan at Jurien Marine Supplies a call! (0428 940 789 0r 9652 1294)
He builds all the pots for the pro's up there and has made a heap of the minis to cater for the amatuer market.
I know he has quite a few in stock and they have had a fair bit of success with them. He is up and down to Perth pretty regularly and can arrange delivery.
Cheers

Good feedback
Thanks guys, might try a couple out this season. I've heard it's going to be a poor one again but still worth it just to get out on the water. Diving probaly is the go but those White pointers just scare the crap out of me at the moment.
