measuring squid for the up coming comp

hi guys

had a few questions on how the squid are going to be measured and goodz has supplied the following pics, i will get some more pics up soon as well.

as you can see clearly in the pic the measurement is to be taken to the longest part of the hood, without getting down to nity grittys this one would measure in at 37cm, we would have to take the measurements in half cm increments.

this is the prime example of hood lenght measurment, and 2 of the required pics, 1 more pic of goodz holding the squid and the entry is done(along with the id tag)

i know it seems to be alot of pics to enter but it is the only way of doing it online and for everybody to see for themselves, if you have an easier way please let us know.

yer beau its going to be hard.

if you are keeping your catch wait till you get home to do it, if its going back in the drink then find someone else to do it for you or do the whole hold the camera out with one hand and hope for the best shot, its the only way until someone comes up with a better idea.

how did you go on the squid mate, i would still like some more pics

edit...for the guys who will be by themselves.. if the pic holding the catch is not the greatist and not a full pic, we could make eceptions, as long as we can see the id tag and what type of fish it is, just try to do your best with that pic and it should be ok.
