Max drag for Demon Blood 64CJ

Just wondering if anyone uses this rod and what sort of punishment it has been put through. I like fishing light and Im hopin this rod will handle some decent fish. I got bugger all responses in the jigging forum.

 hey timo.

i got the db c4cj and put on a 5000sw stella and have put it through a bit of shit.

Ive caught quite a few large demersals on it but running lightish drag around 3-5kg and it held up quite well.

On the weekend in kalbarri i caught some nice big mulloway on pe3 and it held up ok as well. Would have been running about 5-8kg drag as there was a lot of reef around, and i was getting burried with the lighter drag.

i wouldnt run anymore than 8kg but. I think i did push it to its limits with such a heavy drag.

Hope it helps

My mate has one and he reckons its a pretty tough rod. I was fishing with him when he got a sambo of almost a metre off a jetty at the Abrolhos. Went pretty hard on the fish to keep it from getting under the jetty, seems like a good rod to me.
