Lowrance loses Navionics Chart.

After just over a year my Lowrance Elite 5 suddenly played up today. The first issue was that it lost the Navionics chart. GPS working and all waypoints available but no chart. Then it intermittently started rebooting itself.
I checked the connections and removed and cleaned the card but the problem remains.
Any suggestions or help greatly appreciated.

Ring the Lowerance help line.
my old unit played up like this. There is a soft reset and hard reset. I was so worried, but it all got sorted pretty easily. Ended up being put through to an Americain hotline. The "young" bloke didn't really appreciate my worry or lack of software skills. It was bloody nice to have the maps working again. Make sure you take up his offer to back up weight points.

Had a similar problem
Had a similar problem factory reset fixed it but you need your marks saved as it deletes everything
