Lowerance hook reveal advice

Hi guys just wanted to get some feedback on the lowerance hook reveal sounders I'm not sure if it was this site or somewhere else but I had heard a lot of negative comments about these sounders looking at a boat that has one fitted.

they a bare bones shallow water entry sounder - and priced accordingly
would never be a wont buy the boat issue if the price is right
upgrade electronics
tell him u dont want it and he cn take it off - drop price accordingly

That's what I had heard do
That's what I had heard do you know if they are any good as a gps. The owner has just put it on the boat.

Slow processor
I had one on my 4.4m tinny....so slow to update it drove me nuts.
I sold it, upgraded my big boat GPS to a 12 inch HDS Carbon, and put the small HDS Carbon on the tinny.
Haven't looked back.....works a treat
