make sure the radio works
sadly it is straight after a service that most motors break down. i don't wish to put the knockers on your trip but just after getting serviced is the most common time for things to go wrong with the motor.cockburn and freo rescue are off line so remember vn6kc is the call for rockingham, i really hope you have a great day on the water and don't need to give them a call

If the weather is anything
If the weather is anything like today you can just walk home if anything goes sour. Good luck.

thanks guys!
trailers done, crack welded thanks to Sea-Kem- cheers mate, full service done.. decided to just stay in the river tomorrow- just make sure its all good- have a bit of a bream fish- that way if anything does go wrong- atleast i can get it home quick..
as long as nothings suss- will be out in the sound soon! maybe friday- finish work at 7am.. maybe just go straight after work :D
in regards to the sea rescue thing- i cant believe whats going on- somewhat retarded.. metro rescue crews are needed and do a hell of a lot of good for the boating community- dont know how the insurance can be cut- the government wants to charge us $$ for everything boating and fishing related yet they cant afford to ensure that the users are safe or able to get help if required. utterly disappointing. they do a tremendous job and im glad they are around- lets hope the situation is resolved soon. ( i have had both cockburn and freo crews come to the rescue when i ran out of two stroke oil at rottnest and nowhere on the island sold it - great guys and didnt make me feel like a complete dickhead- just a minor one :P )
To any guys/girls on here who are an active member in a searescue club- thankyou! you do the boating community a massive favour but providing a needed service by volunteering your time and energy to keep us safe. thank you.
