Hi All,
Thinking of a quick dash to Jurien this week, its been quite some time since I've fished out of there, wondering for those who fish ut of there regularily, what the north passage is like in a 2.5 - 2.8m swell, i wuld have thought pretty safe still?

No problems
I've been out of the north passage in 4.5m, which is not nice, but 2.5 - 2.8m should be fine. Most of the water there is 12-13 metres deep.
2.5m is my limit for the south passage

Agree with Belly Fish re the 2.5 limit for South. Have been out North in 3.5 and was fine so you'll be good. Was up there in June for the big storm, 6.5m swell on the first three days and was breaking across the entire of the reef, the horizon was just white. Goes without saying the boat stayed on the trailer and the beers got a hiding!!
