Jurien landbased (lure only)

Heading up to Jurien for a few days on a Uni camp thingo, so will only take 1 rod (probably) and will just be chucking some lures around. Did a quick search and so far thinking the marina, groyne and jetty for tailor/herring/whatever. Just wondering if anyone knows whats been caught lately or can offer any other advice? cheers

You can try off the beach off Shingle Ave.  Turn left onto the gravel road and there is parking there.

I went for an arvo explore and there is a bit of reef out there you can chuck lures around.  

 

This was a few months back, but a guy there was finding a few tailor with the ol' mullie.
