Jurien Bay Charter

Went out with Whitey (can't remember the charter company name) from Jurien Bay on Sunday morning... Had an absolute blast, man this guy knows how to put you onto fish. Had the best deckie ever too!

Trolled about between spots with no luck on the tuna, but other than that most of his spots were firing. Tonnes of mulloway, sambos and pinkies with the odd tiny dhuie thrown in (sarcasm! check him out!). A few baldies pulled up too, but only lil fellas so they were returned asap.

Not many pics, as we were havin wayy too much fun to grab the camera... main brag of the day was the Dhu below.

Labour day long weekend

Wed, 2013-01-16 21:29

Does any body know if Whitey is still running his charter if so what sort of cost per person and would he allow a 10 year old to fish along side her father? Yes I know ringing him would be easier but the use of this forum fits in with my schedule a lot easier.

any info would be great fully appreciated cheers.

Jurien Bay Charters

Tue, 2013-01-22 09:13

Yes, Ausfisha, Whitey is still operating as Jurien Seasport Charters.  I have booked to go out with him on April 6th, with my married son.  He's 44 years old.  Can't comment on a 10 y.o. though.  I went out with him two years ago and he certainly knows his game.  We had a ball and the whole boat bagged out by 11.00am.  The cost per person is now $270.00 and he does not supply lunch.  Thats no dramas because usually everyone is too busy to worry about eating.  It's a top charter and worth every cent.

Cheers

Baz
