looks good all weekend. if the jet skiers come across the yakkers you could give them a tow around and save their arms or legs. unless they are like alby and have a sailLaughing

Hey Johan

As you know I was planning on heading out Saturday anyway so will see you at the ramp for a 7am departure. Sunrise is about 6:30 these days so the yakkas will be safe, haha... I spent tonight making up a heap on new rigs, all ready....

Weather change from last night to now

Fri, 2010-09-03 18:56

Wind is showing an increase to 12 Knots avg, with rain. Weather is turning against us here, not sure how well the sound/Garden Island will protect us against the elements. Wind is SW so blowing over the Island towards the coast. Maybe some experts can advise us here.

When did you pull that chart off seabreeze? I just had a look and the wind prediction has dropped off to 8 or 9 knots. I heard they are prediciting the rain in the afternoon, I want to head out early and be home by 1 or 2 so I can go buy some steel to start making my new framework for my esky.

I posted the chart at about 6:30pm and I have seen the change in just 2 hrs. Amaizing how the prediction changes with time. I will be heading out anyway. The sound should be OK for a fish. See you at the ramp

fish for the day

Well no snapper were caught, not through lack of trying.... Still got myself a feed of KGW and herring. The herring were of a decent size for a change and the largest KWG was 370mm and largest herring was 245mm.

Thanks for a good day out JetSki Fisho's, sorry we did not get any snapper but the KGW will do just fine. I eventually moved to another spot and got my outstanding 4 whiting. Should have taken a picture but after cleaning the Ski I got stuck into filliting the whiting and getting them in the pan. They were pretty tasty must say. My hearing all whent back to grow some more.

Cheers

I waved to you as you pulled up and beeped!
