good, i have 3 here, looking at selling 2 of them soon both brand new never had line on them, and keeping one, good casting nice drags are you looking at the lever drag or star drag versions?
Na mako i dont thats due to, i have used them and seen them used over and over day in and day out for weeks at a time and i prefer tiagras and always will but thats just IMO.
yeah i have the old inter50w and its around 18 years old now and still going as strong as ever, though i am running the above 2 i mentioned as well and find them nice,never really thought about a tiagra though, but they are very nice
The 975 leverdrag isn't a good casting reel and that's why i sold mine but a good light trolling reel. That's why Penn released the 975 CSLD (casting special L/D)

The 965 and 975 are proberly
The 965 and 975 are proberly the only 2 penn reels i like but thats a prsonal preference. Worth buying.

What does the CS mean in the model code? They seem to have a lever drag version with cast support, whacky!

I use a 975csld, and i think they are great reels.
I use mine mostly for bottomfishing, and very happy with it.
