hillaries snapper

whent to hillaries for a few hours around the lighthouse and 1st cast caught a snapper about 25-30 cm fought like a rocket on my 6ft rod and 6lb braid about half an hour later got another bout the same size little smaller i cnt believe i got them at hillaries i put them bak obviusly just wandering if u get any legal size in the marina or not?

the marina is like a nursery for all types of fish. theres a LOT of baby pinks in there. and to answer your question, yes, you do get legal sized ones. ive hooked numerous large pinks but ive never been able to land one due to circumstances beyond my control
