There's a few herring around the south wall at hillaries, caught one on a luminouse tube the cut him up, then got a heap more one every second cast wern't biting on much else though... got bait for next time out in the deep...

Funnely enough from about 11am thru till 2pm heaps of burley around due to others however I think the aniseed oil in my mix kept them around where I was casting...

We have been getting some
We have been getting some great schools of herring coming through there. We dont usually get there till around 3pm, burley up and bingo there they are.
We caught 6 in one session, admittadly they were scared off by a school of 15 to 20 much larger fish that looked suspiciously like salmon, but after they went through not a single bite.
