I am back off to Steep Point in 5 weeks time. I would like to take up some fresh gardies as the shop bought ones are quite often expensive and a bit soft. Does anyone know a good spot to chase gardies at the moment??? Preferably NOR and off the land.

although you said NOR... my fav spot for gardies is the ammo jetty in coogee... wogs and small pencil float and some nice dry berley which sits on top of the water to bring them right up will absolutely kill it. i've found the best times are earlish in the morning with a gentle easterly to get the berley out. you can quite easily bag out when you can get a school around the jetty. not too sure if they are firing down there but as i haven't been there to catch them for a bit but its normally pretty reliable

Here fishy fishy....
