hey everyone.. just wondering and asking for some great tips/ pples choice on this sounder settings..

like the gain etc.. i been using my bottom lock alot lately and has started making a big difference.. to my fishing..

i,d like the experts views on this please.. i had this sounder like a yr still playing around..

any ideas would be good..the measurement settings are in inches here..

i like to obviously see the bottom but also see where there are fish.. i wont fish a good bottom without fish on it, although.. i have fished some ground without the 585 showing fish and pulled dhuies.. weird but.. guess it cant read everything..


a mate of mine who run  a charter for a few yrs down here set my sounder up.. all manual.. damm u can even see the lines dropping in.. but i think i stuffed it a bit.. playin.. just tryin to distinguish fish from reef on the bottom lock..

I always use bottom lock and zoom in as well like they said.
that picture of your sounder is breaking bottom looks like air bubbles was that when you just stopped.

actually think we were moving diji in that shot.. i think thats  why its a little blurred..

still figuring out the best settings all your guys info is appreciated..ty
