Are you chasing value for money ( we all do ) or a trip of a lifetime, your MRS may effect this decision in the future, so do it while you can. In saying that i left my wife and lady friends after my wedding and took the boys for a 4 day Kimberley charter to the Berkely river back in 1995. Set the ground rules early.

Have been on a 6 day Abrohlos and am now booked on a Monties in September, do it when you can as getting mates together at a given time is NOT as easy as it seems. My previous charter was Swains Reef of Gladstone in 1986, so when life gets in your way fishing charters can prove difficult to arrange.

We are going with a very well known skipper in Bernie Vale,  Mahi Mahi 3 his CV is as good as they get, so don't always look for the cheap option as if you only do a charter once or twice in a lifetime you may as well go with the best.

Just landed a 102cm barra this morning, on a bit of a high at present.

Ive done some rippers,

Ive done some rippers, fishing along side the business owners at the Rowley Shoals, Kimberley etc. Some charters try to cater for everyone and include sightseeing stuff and only operate between certain hours. I would always look for the type of guy who will fish day or night to make sure you get what your paying for. And who is just as excited about the fishing as you are.  I cant give info on current operators but get the info from them and see if they are offering what you are after. Just because you do a Kimberley fishing trip for example,...dont think that will guarentee  fish in any numbers. Of course lower numbers are usually better.

I'm goin to the rowleys in August with reel teaser charters, that place looks awesome! About half the price of nomad but you will need to find another 5 people to split the cost of the charter
