I like the brooker newer boat with a 4 banger but will have too pay extra for sounder gps and put a false floor in it

The 4.65 bit worried about the Johnson on it the ones ive been around have been temperamental.

Will be using for inshore work around the southwest better days head deeper maybe even off cowtown any advice would be greatly appreciated cheers

first boat you buy

regardless to what boat you buy, if you ever have any motor or prop malfunctin, make sure you let your anchor out, so you keep the nose of the boat into the wind, if the back of your boat is facing the wind & wave, thats when you get swamped. good luck cheers Don.

Don't buy a boat with a motor

Don't buy a boat with a motor you don't trust. You will always be listening for a hiccup as you motor along. You will blow out of proportion anything you do hear. Eventually you will replace it even if it is quite ok. You have to completely trust your outboard.
