Pretty much anywhere on a lead up to high tide is best. Our fav spot is head out of town as if you going  tantabiddi, directly across from the turnoff to tantabiddi/lighthouse turn right down that track, follow it to the end and fish that beach between there and bundegi ramp. Its pretty boggy though once you on the beach. Bundegi ramp is worth a look if your in a 2 wheel drive, plenty there at times.

 Cheers jeff

went down to that spot near bundegi at high tide no luck though.

Not wrong about being boggy had a ball 4wding tyres down to 15 psi and still struggled to get through.

will give learmonth a crack tomorrow.

Yeh Marbles given you the boggiest bit of Exxy to try first up.  Just drive from town beach north and pull out around the base, you should be able to see the schools in the shallows, quite a cruizy drive too.  Ahhh I miss that. :(

profish, we do better at the Bundegi Sanctuary Zone ( Heading north) on a rising tide not the "full flooding high"

Basically your catching the whitting in skinny water, well thats what we do.
