Exmouth Marina Crabs?

Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has had any success inside the marina? Am staying at one of the marina palaces for a couple weeks and have own jetty so was wondering if it would be worth hanging a couple of nets over the side.

Blue Manna/Swimmer crabs are Australia wide.Should be mud crabs as well.In Townsville in the 80,s I drop netted the Ross river and if you went near the ocean I would get blue crabs.A few times I caught blue and mud in the same drop net

Learmonth
Was up there last weekend, heard a whisper that they are getting them just north of Learmonth jetty and not far offshore in good numbers and sizes

Crab city
Crabs every where up there mate, just find the flat sand in about 4-6m and your on. Bag limit up there is 40per boat.

Used to get some good ones in the bay at Onslow April was pretty reliable, got some at Girralia May this year so yeah I recon they should be around.

Thanks guys. I know the crabs are hot up there but will have limited access to a boat so it will mostly be shore based. Thats why I thought id give my jetty a go in the marina.

not sure about the eating
not sure about the eating sort, but if u r near the marina, u can catch the rock crabs, and whack them out on some heavy line near the mouth at night, and can get some suprisingly big bluebone.

Hey mate, I did one arvo/night/early morning but the baits didnt get touched. The fishing was good though :)
