Diawa v Shimano

Looking at buying myself a new overhead reel for jigging, and at this stage can't decide between the Saltiga 15H and Shimanos ocea jigger...any recommendations?

Ocea jigger 1500 pg and can't fault it. What rod are you looking at pairing with?

I’d go the saltiga
The ocea jiggers all seem to have left hand side bearing issues due to corrosion early on. That's in my experience anyway

deffo the saliga, had mine serviced a few weeks back and the guy who did the service said exactly what scano said and that the saltigas are far superior.
My spots are so secret even the fish don't know about them !

I have the saltiga 35n sj..
I have the saltiga 35n sj.. Seems to be a great reel so far. I chose it because I didn't like the shimano micro gear idea.
