Brendan (Brenz) and Matt (Hlokk) are probably joining me. It may be a bit blowy and wet, but it should be fun.

Hey Colin,

I thought about comming along to join you, I even emailed Tailor Marc and Bodie but they aint keen. The wind will certainly be blowing pretty hard but hopefully that should bring plenty of Tailor on the bite for you. Make sure you remember the camera and post a report tomorrow with some pics and how you went.

best of luck

scano

The wind wasn't too bad and the water looked really fishy. However, the low tide at that time created a bit of havoc as the waves were breaking a fair way out. Thankfully my Moonraker game me an opportunity to get out to some reasonable water.
There was a really nice hole right out in front of the outlet when I first arrived, but then the currents started switching around. One minute going right, the next left. It made it pretty hard to fish.
I stuck it out for awhile, but my bait just wasn't in the right positions for long enough so I decided to head home to a warm meal.
Anyone who is thinking of going down there should try and time it with the high tide. There will be a fantatic hole right next to the outlet at high tide.
