Busso Blank Out

Built up the awesome squidding down here all day to the kids and launched from Port Geo Marina with a stiff breeze still blowing at 2pm with Bailey our pup on his maiden voyage.
Headed straight for my honey hole and the look on Lachie's face said it all when he saw the colour of the water. We did three large drifts for no interest on a range of jigs so pushed out to the 10m line where the water was nicer.
Hit a couple of broken up areas with jigs and whiting rigs and not even a bite and kept a sardine cube untouched!!
Oh well... the beer and lemonade was cold, the tunes were good and Bailey was a star.

Dirty water
Hi there, was down there last week and yes the water was pretty dark and not so inviting, next time you go have a crack for some KGS. Had the best arvo with a great mate and we had a ball in very shallow water catching a great feed , we caught 17 kg in a couple of hours in that water, my youngest son killed us and was happy to rub it in.

Went out in Geo Bay
Went out in Geo Bay yesterday. No good on the KG''s and my new million doollar Shimano squid jig got smashed by a sambo after catching one squid. Gone.

Best place for big KG’s down Busso, I’ve found the 40-50 feet mark out from Wonnerup to be a good area. Just be ready to move when the trumpeters move in.

In reality it's just good to get out there with the kids and dog. Our dog always wears his life jacket as do we . Not that he will jump over the side but you never know. Better luck next time

Have you got a gaff or landing net?
The hound will float so just get your young fella to practise his gaffing/netting skills, will put him in good sted for when dad has a PB dhu in the shallows near the boat....
Pirate fill up the wheelie bin with the hose ( you'll have to be quick with the next part ) throw cat in and close lid, sit on lid....
If you think you might get scratched leave it zipped up in your handbag when throw in....
