I went today near the kiosk and there was one other guy but no bends. Been about 4 times in the last 2-3 weeks as well and no fish at all (not even herring) and I havent seen anyone else catch anything. Once was on a saturday and there were a lot of rods out.
Do they normally start to come in this time of year? Perhaps like the salmon they're a bit late due to the water temps
Would love to catch some though, but its just a lot of casting for nothing at all. Only caught squid there.
I had a fish on the rocks at the end of the street where you drive past all the fish shops, maccas, etc. on Sunday arvo (dont know the name of the place, new to the area) and I caught a few herring. Was trying for some squid but no joy.
Which mole is best for pelagics like salmon and bonnies. I am assuming efforts are best concentrated on the North???
