i read the bayswater council ? are putting a new boatramp in at bayswater, just near the garret rd bridge, and they will have a pontoon jetty there. they have just done the carpark wich the locals were not happy with.

Pontoon fingers
Those pontoon fingers are great! There is (was) one in Matilda Bay - it was great to use when I was up in Perth and wanted a Swan River upstream jaunt.

Na, those pontoon fingers don't give you any structure like the poles did, don't let that council off so easily :P
