? for Black Jew gurus in Port Hedland

Hey all,

just a quick question for the black jew gurus in PH. Going to try and give it a crack out of the tinny on Sunday night. Full moon and a tide change from low to high co-inciding with the moon rise. Is this worth a shot? Also being a fisho that tends to only use lures. Will soft placcy entice them? Or should I stick to a strip bait, running ball sinker rig? Any help will be greatly appreciated as im a newby to this style and species.

Ta
Sha

Hardly a guru but have pulled a fair few from there. I preferred the high to low change and a bit less movement that a full moon kind of tide.

Always did better fishing baits but have caught them on jigs and plastics.

Tides not too bad Sunday night, plastics work but if you have any wolf herring in the freezer, I'd be using that, when I fish for them I run a paternoster rig

the best place in hedland for them use to be under the end of the goldsworthy wharf.we would get 3 or 4 every time we went.there is or was a large hole there.you would need a cord line to stop them getting around the piles.

Didn't get any guys. Just a small shark, tide was too low for us to anchor outside the channel and fish the 47 so we had to fish 44. Apparently the guys next door (tug drivers) said they saw a few caught by the guys on the bank. Haha how's that for luck
