Anyone know where to get an old pneumatic speargun serviced?

Hi, I have on old speargun from the late 1970s. My dad gave it to me a while back. It is a Mares Pnuematic gun but it leaks and doesnt hold pressure. I tried contacting Mares but they were not much help. Ended up emailing some lady from Italy that said there probably not any service kits available for it. Does anyone know if there are any dive stores or anywhere I can send it to have it repaired? It is an awsome gun with the two chambers and the handle in the centre like a bazooka. Took it into Karratha and they told me it couldnt be fixed and then tried to sell me a WAY overpriced new gun. Best gun Ive used and dont want to see it go to waste. Cheers.

If its just o-rings, then you
If its just o-rings, then you can probably get replacements ones from transeals or the like.
There are places in Perth that service air guns, but if it is that old, the simply won't touch it.
PS: everything is overpriced in Karratha.

It probably has O'rings and
It probably has O'rings and commonly available lip seals fitted but Transeals can custom make any seals needed.

That sounds good.
I might give it a go pulling it apart. I wasnt game. The old man said there were a lot of springs and stuff inside but its not working anyway so I cant make it worse. Has anyone any tips before I start pulling it apart? Cheers.
