you know the cheap plastic ones, $299 from the Big Crappy Fishing store with paddle and PFD.
im going to fit a kayak out on the cheap, just wondering how stable they are to get out to the little reefs just off hillarys? or is that just stupid?

Hmm...
Never heard of them mate to be honest. If you are after a cheap Kayak, have a look at the Finns, there are some under $1000 i'm fairly sure. Otherwise, take a good PFD, and some Flares...

Its a freshwater toy at best.
If you want a cheap yak get over to wangler and pick up Colin's malibu in the FS section. The work is all done and its well priced for a used yak.

Finn Gizmo can be had for
Finn Gizmo can be had for around $640 and would be fine for a first fishing yak in protected waters.
I think if you bought the cheap $299 Yak you would end up dissapointed and feeling as though you wasted $299, best save a few more dollars up and keep an eye on the Quokka, theres some pretty good deals in there on yaks most weeks.
