another yak mack

Thought id give it another crack and it paid off. With everyone chasing stinky salmon there was limited traffic and it was a good day out. Tried for demersals but couldnt temp any, so only went home with this baby. Pulled scales down the 14kg didnt measure him, twas a bit difficult in the yak. Spotted a few more on the sounder but couldn't tempt em. Love light gear fishing.

Smoked about 100m one way then came at me, i watched him swim past the front or the yak and keep going for another 100m til he started playing deep and dragging me with him. It was an epic battle.

, otherwise no dramas (touch wood) i am due for a service soon as its been almost two years of some seroius fishing, and constant 7km+ round trips.
