advice on Bluebone in Exmouth

Gday people,

just wondering if anyone has any advice on what rigs work on catching Bluebone up at Exmouth?

as i understand it a simple paternoster rig with fresh crab bait works well?

if anyone has any other ideas on what has worked for them i would love to hear.

cheers

Sounds like your pretty much onto it, I wouldn't bother with the shallows around the Murions though, I hear theres not many left.  (local joke)

I seen plenty!

Always saw at least a few cruizin close to the shore around Dunes down to Lighthouse beach.  Especially when I was out surfing not near a rod.  I found using a simple running sinker down to a  8.0 circle hook did the damage.  Small crabs work a treat, but so does squid.

High tide seems to bring them in close to the shore.

Good luck mate!

Now that Gallash has left town the stocks might make a comeback ;-) give it another year or two maybe to let them build up again . . .
