for me
Yeh i use the Owner solid rings to attach the swinging assist hook but use ballbearing swivels, they work alot better and i hardly loose a jig so no issue on paying a bit extra. As for the sizing, 100g jigs i use size #3...... 200g size #4........ and 300g plus i use #5 ball bearing!

4&5
Size 4 & 5 mainly , we don't want any failures when fishing PE8 & a full drag.
Someone asked me how we do the hook swivel ring set up so I got a close up of a jig all set ready to go , this way you tie the line onto your swivel then you can change the jig or the hook as long as you have some good split ring pliers on hand , just about all my fishing is done with a swivel and ring on a leader then just whack on anything you want bottom rig , jig , trolling lure anything, much better and stronger than a snap swivel.

Thanks
I have been doing the same but I use a Hawaiian Clip tied to the leader
Haven't had a failure yet (touch wood).

Keep touching it NoWorries
Only time I use clips is when trolling for billfish and want to be able to chance lure/leader setups or prerigged gars etc.
