Dollies at the fads

Had a ball out at the fads on Saturday with Rockpom.Stoppd in 55m on the way out and picked up 2 pinks, 2 queenies and 1 dhuie. The fads were loaded with dollies and had a ball with them for 45 mins before a couple of bronzies crashed the party. The dollies were free jumping as soon as we got there and were up to 1.2m long.

Love catching dollies, especially in the larger sizes. Good fish for the metro. Funny thing is that dolly was probably only about 2kgs when it first arrived at the fads. Phenomenal growth rate.

Yeah Big John i was told
Yeah Big John i was told that they are the fastest growing fish in the ocean and while we were there we had baby dolphin fish about 10cm long come out from under the shelter of the fads and eye ball the livies.Pretty aggressive!!

Fantastic photo. Really brings out the emotion of a good catch, there and then on the water rather than at home on the lawn.
I dont think the eldorado will last to much longer as i think the fads will soon be pulled.

Well done Goat. Good size that one. Its certainly a great sight when you head out there and they are free jumping everywhere.
