17.5ft Pakemaker 1/2 Cab (no motor) Edit: .......SOLD
G'day,
I've finally upgraded my boat to one that will fit in the carport, as the kids are old enough to no longer need the cab area.
I bought a new Optimax and hydraulic steering for the Pacey back in July, and have just bought just a hull/trailor setup, and have now swapped over the motor and steering to the new (new to me) hull.
The Pacey has a few things need fixing, mainly fibreglass work, and obviously needs a motor/controls.
It comes with 2 70 litre stainless fuel tanks, nav lights, custom rear fold up dive step, marine radio, standard steering wheel/box/cable (in new condition), on a top condition braked bermuda trailor.
Both trailor and boat are registered, and anyone that knows Pacemaker hulls will know the legendary handling in rough water.
This boat has served me well over the last 4 years or so, with several trips to Shark Bay etc, and I had a hard decision to make to sell it.
However, as I now have the replacement, it has to go, and I'm asking $2500.00 ono.
Cheers,
Joe

Looks like a good project
Looks like a good project boat at that price, I would chop the top cab off and turn into a centre console.

agreed vagabond!
If I had the time, money and inclination I would do something similar to this:

Island cab
Yeah, I seriously considered cutting the whole cab out, and fitting a small island cab, I'd prefer a small storage area out of the weather, and enough room for 3 people to squeeze behind a screen, but at the end of the day, I decided to go for something else, and ended up with a walk-thru screen.
I may yet regret it, but we'll see.
By the way, the "ono" is pretty much open to offers, I just had to name a rough ball-park figure, .....if anyone's interested, for a cut'n'shut job or whatever....make an offer.....you might be surprised, I'll get sick of it sitting on the lawn soon enough!!
Cheers,
Joe
PS figure I've asked for is bearing the value of the trailor in mind, as it is in top nick, and has many years' life.

Bloody good buy
The trailer alone would be worth that.
Pity I don't have the time to do a project, I would turn it into a Center Console.
Have a great day.

What size motor would you need to match it up with?
