UNUSUAL EXPERIENCE DIVING

Whilst getting crays tonight I had a wierd experience.I found a small ledge full of whites and they started backing away from something and towards me tail first.I was happy to grab them by hand and after a few had been taken they moved out of my range.
I then started prodding them with my snare to move them into a zone where I could get them and whilst doing this recieved the biggest electric shock which freaked me out and made me drop my snare.
I looked and couldn't see anything but I'll be f@cked if I was putting it back under again again and swam off!
Any thoughts????????????

No idea about what would have shocked you Goat, maybe an eel....
At least the crays will be prewarmed (if they were attached to you).

I went off of Mindarie, found a few Crays but my "cheap" rechargeable torch let me down!!! Back to the drawing board.
Just for info there are a fair few out there but they look quite small and are well wedged into very deep ledges.
I am gonna try off the dog beach on Friday morning. Will let yo know how I go.

I have a low tolerance to electricity since I was about 17 and one of the boys played a practicle joke on me.He got me to hang on to the coil lead of his V8 whilst he kicked it in the guts.

Our science teacher used to
get all of us kids to stand in a circle holding hands with the 2 kids on each side of him holding terminals while he wound up the dynamo . Shit did we leave go quickly!! Then he would put 6 pence ( big money in those days) in a baking bowl full of water for anyone who could grab it & wound up the dyno again. Nobody ever did ! Imagine if they tried that these days on our kids!! He even made us smell pure ammonia out of a bottle The pr---k !!
