I have most success
At Harvey and if I'm stuggling I'll give Waroona a bash - cant say I have fished Drakesbrook for a looooong time (7 or 8 years ago I recall).
As for rigs and bait - I know Harvey and Waroona are artificial lure only, so I'd suspect Drakesbrook is in the same boat. Other rivers like the Donnelly/Warren/Murray etc probably allow the use of bait, but dont quote me as I dont normally fish there.
And yeah, kayak fishing is one of the preferred methods! Paddle power or electric outboards only in the dams.
Oh, and make sure you have a freshwater fishing license.

redfin
Picked up a nice halco lure from the tackelshak
red on top, gold belly ,bib on the front, worked realy well. The little buggers chewed the paint off it.That was down on the warren river. There is still some good fish to be had in the murry .I have done my best on live bait ,minnos and earthworms its a cheap but very effective alternitve.Im still working on the trout . there is quite a few fresh water fishos on site they just dont say much.
Cheers Uncle Stu .

Waroona dam is lake navarino ,so im told .Drakesbrook dam is further south, as you head south out of town you will cross drakes brook the stream that comes from the dam.follow the brook and youl find the dam. Up hill , there is a sign post .

The waroona dam is where u
The waroona dam is where u can ski, the drakesbrook weir is the smaller body of water south of town. its been very ordinary for a long time, still ok to use baits but its a waste of time i haven't heard any reports other than tiny redfin. the harvey weir has been producing lots of trout lately and any redfin u catch there are pretty good size
