LB tips for Cervantes

Hello all!
I'm going camping for 3 days with some friends in early December in Cervantes.
I've never been up there before, so I know nothing about the area. Just wondering if there are any good spots for some Land Based fishing? Any all info on spots, species, or any other tips are welcome!
Thanks!

just wanted to bump this to see if there is anyone on with any advice. I just checked a map and there are 3 jetties there, so I'm guessing I can fish for the usual suspects off the jetties.
I'd still love to hear from anyone with firsthand experience!

Only been up there twice, as it's a bit too far for me on my own to drive for a few hrs fishing( I get a bit bored driving with no one to talk to) but the fishing is at least 100% better up there than it is around Joondalup area.
Took a drive Southwards on the beach and picked a spot there and caught a few decent sized Flathead, umpteen Herring and a Tailor.
North of the Jetties , along the Beach, I have caught loads of Herring and they were the biggest ones I have ever seen! At least twice the size of the ones I have caught around Joonders and Mindarie.
The Jetties get you into a bit of deeper water where you will get the usual humongous fish ripping you off and not seeing or knowing what they where and Herring.
I've caught other fish but didn't have a clue what they where! Hey anything will do as long as I get a bend in the rod
There are most probably other fish there but seeing as I have only been here 11 mths and getting my sea head togetther on rigs and tactics , I don't think I am doing too bad.

Eddie, go to the most northern jetty in town and fish the
north west corner. There can be some great tailor caught there in the mornings and evenings. Squid also hang around the shore side of the jetty.

thanks guys!! Some nice
thanks guys!! Some nice tailor would make for some nice dinners! Squid wouldn't go amiss either.
Herring/whiting will be good as I'll have several folks with me who haven't done much fishing before.
We'll have the camera so I'll give you a report when we get back.
