Nice set up Spess

Mon, 2008-10-27 15:15

how did you go with the floor? I sealed the main floor using some vicious 2 pack and the casting platform with marine polyurethane gloss - both got rained on the other night and curled up like a dead mullet. I am not hopefull on how the ply will perform after that.

Mon, 2008-10-27 16:06

Yeah didnt seal my deck as i find its easier to allow runoff at the sides. However im installing below deck storage so ive made a chanelling system out of ali under the floor so the water runoff goes to the back of the boat where a bilage pump can be installed.

i did however stick marine carpet on all my flat areas which allows for better sealing on the ply because of the glue.
