Trailcraft 540 Freestyle

Gentleman the old man is selling his 05/06, 5.4m Trailcraft freestyle (Runabout config). This boat is powered by a Mercury 90hp 2stk with only 50hrs on the clock, also with the engine is a SS prop and spare alloy prop Options include spare wheel and Bimini that has never been used. Aux motor bracket 4 rod holders, GME VHF radio and antenna offshore flare kit and life jackets and EPIRB. The sounder and GPS are very basic Navman units.. Spare wheel and Bimini that has never been used. The boat is in excellent condition, the only reason we are selling to upgrade for something larger. Price is $27,500.

Yeah I have seen ben fish and I agree those 50 hours come from idling the engine when washing it :)

I had one of those trailcraft, it was an awsome little boat, Jesse and i had some great fishing adventures ,can recommend them ,and this one looks in mint condition good luck with the sale.

Trailcraft Freestyle
Interested to know how the Trailcraft goes in heavy seas. I have heard good and bad reports. Is the 90HP big enough or would you go bigger?

We went out in the boat the other day when our charter was cancelled, and went to carnac, then garden Island and around the back of carnac again. And there was a howling Sw breeze with some big chop, and it handled it fine.
The 90 pushes it along great also
Also saw a goat out there which we pinged!!! lol
