bundegi ramp and navy pier
Submitted by Kasey L. on Wed, 2008-09-03 18:29.
Hi guys, just a couple of quick queries:
1) Does anyone know when bundegi ramp will be ready?
2) What are the regulations surrounding the Navy Pier for shore-dives? I am aware of the fishing and boat restrictions surrounding it - but what about diving?
Thanks alot

they do dives off the end
they do dives off the end with one of the local companies ... but im sure they got some sort of deal going ... anyone know if it possible to get a permit to drive past the check point at the naval pier ? would save a long walk on the beach...
when are you heading up Kasey ?

Thanks guys
Thats quite silly really - 180$ to dive from shore, what in the world do you pay that much for? Lets just say if its possible, I don't plan to be hauling all that dive gear up the sand from bundegi...
Clint - the idea is to head up 27th sept to 4th oct. I have alot of gear backlogged that needs to get wet. The new 08 Stella 18000XG may make a guest appearance too if we get lucky.
I possibly have room for 1 more - you interested?

Bad news, no cray KC, only trout and bluebone. Not season yet unfortunately and my stocks are depleted.
As for the Navy pier dive, I have done it myself, but I've seen the photo's Gully and my brother have taken and its well worth doing. Absolutely stoinka trout, schools of all varietys of trevs (some 50kg +), estuary + potato cod, nearly everything!
Bumdegi is still a while off.

You tell me.... Get developers completement date, then add interest of Exmouth time, then add a whole lot of wank wank to that and it puts you in the approximation of an estimate of maybe this year. ;)

mmm
Gotta go through the charter company. You will save if you have your own gear though I think.
Matt's back in Sydney to 6th or 7th of Oct and then driving back over, but I can PM it if you want.
