Tell you what mate, I didn't feel too special the morning after the night we polished it off LOL.
We won a trip to Ireland some years ago and visted the Jamieson's factory - you can order the 12yo personal;ly labelled - but only from the factory. Sandra won an 'official tester' status - she had to sample all the whiskys - LOL - she was (literally) legless when she finished.
Funny, people are usually a bourbon or scotch/whisky person. I'm the latter. I wouldn't (couldn't) drink bourbon at gun point.

I used to be a Scotch drinker and thought that Burbon tasted terrible (back in the days that Jaks and Jim B were the only burbons) But then Cougar and Wild Turkey came here and I have never looked back.
I can still drink Scotch but only if there is no Burbon availible.
My twin brother is a boubon drinker, and he's got me to sample them all, still can't acquire a taste for them. I'm a very safe person to look after someone's bourbon LOL

eeewwww... been there to lindsay... 36 slammers in half a hour when i was a young fella.....bad.... very very bad...... woke up on my oldies front lawn, when the retic came on......never been able to touch the stuff since...
Whisky I loved it once, went to Bali 10 days, come back tried whisky nearly vomited don't know what happened over there, I'm a southern comfort girl know, hubbie loves is red & whisky
Yeah, I think we all have at least one beveredge that we've 'killed' due to overendulgence (although your bali story sounds like yours was 'doctored') - like I said before, I killed my taste for SC when I was younger. There's some fantastic reds down here (Shiraz & Merlot mainly).

As a stupid teenager I almost drowned when I decided to go surfing after a session on the Stones. I still get heartburn when I hear that name.

Oh yes, the dreaded 'over consumption' in our teens - at least you had good taste!
When the yearn for and consumption of alcohol far outweighed our ability to handle it - with some very untidy results
I remember Southern (Dis)Comfort, starwhine, bodiga....and the worst of all Fruity Lexia

We needed belly warmers for our walk to the beach for the 6am surf. :) Ahh, those were the days.
Somehow can still do tequila, but only just.

Booze and surfing - not a good plan LOL. Drank a fair bit of 'stones' myself. Haven't tasted it for years and don't know if I want to again LOL.
