Where is the best place to go along the scarborough beach strip?
Are there any no fishing zones (due to people swimming etc)?

Tommo here is some info
Courtesy of TOWN OF CAMBRIDGE
THE TAILOR HOLES
Park adjacent to Hale Road and walk across West Coast Highway to the beach using the marked tracks.Walk north 200 metres to the Tailor Holes. This is an excellent all year round spot for tailor, herring, garfish and mulloway. The beach formations are changing regularly in this area. The many holes and gutters provide excellent angling.
FLOREAT BEACH
Park in one of the many convenient car parks in the area and follow the tracks to the beach and some great fishing.
FLOREAT DRAIN
This is one of Perth’s most popular fishing spots. Park in Car Park 314 and follow the marked path across to the beach. Produces a lot of tailor, herring and garfish. Occasional mulloway and skippy are also caught along this stretch.
FLOREAT (NORTHERN) GROYNE
This spot fishes better during the evening for tailor, whiting and herring. Larger specimens of herring and tailor, as well as mulloway and salmon, can be caught during the winter months.
Check the signs for angling access to this groyne. It is shared with surfers chasing waves. When anglers are not able to fish from this groyne they can relocate to the southern groyne at City Beach.
CITY BEACH (SOUTHERN)

SWANBOURNE DRAIN
Park in Car Park C300 south of Falmouth Avenue and use the path to walk across to the beach. The Swanbourne Drain is
approximately a 1.5 Km walk south along along the beach.
A popular spot for spring mulloway, summer tailor, winter herring and tarwhine. This spot fishes best in the mornings.
LOCAL LAWS AFFECTING ANGLERS
Beach Inspectors are engaged by the Town of Cambridge to
administer and enforce the Council’s Beach Local Laws. If you are not sure about any aspect of beach use, ask a Beach Inspector.
These people are readily identified with their white and red
uniform with the words ‘Beach Inspector’ clearly displayed.Anglers must abide by any direction given by a Town of Cambridge Beach Inspector.
