Bream and the rain

I was planning on going for a bream bash tomorrow morning with some HB lures.  Do you think the amount of rain we have had overnight and today will have started pushing them back downstream.  I am not sure where to try.  I am wondering if my efforts would be best concentrated around Maylands (the only place I know there is a jetty near the Bath St Reserve) or further down the river.  Where abouts on the Canning can you fish shore based.

Not after any 'secret hotspots' just general areas?  Thanks

Whereabouts

Are you going down around Freshwater Yatch Club?  I gave that a good bash a few weeks ago without much joy.  I fished the jetties near the club and around towards the Scotch College boat house and no joy.

My other option was going to be around Jojos.

Good luck to you too mate.

Unless they've moved it, there's a pontoon (floating) finger at the public ramp, right alongside the yacht club that Brenz didn't mention.

Deep Water Point!

Fri, 2008-07-04 18:23

Hey Gus,

I think Deep Water Point will be worth a poke at mate. I'm pretty sure they will be lurking in the holes and flats around there, alot of little rocky ground through there too. Even have the chance to pick up the odd Flathead or what not, keep moving I would say!

Hope you get into them mate.

Smile

Cheers lads,

Darda. H
