I would hate to think how many cats live on that north wall at Hillarys, if there were two fighting under the rocks where I was fishing and I was most northern point.
I think the council should do something about it because they have taken over the place. The rock crabs are being decimated and it won't be long before a child gets bitten or scratched by one of the bigger cats.

I was fishing down there at dawn a week or two ago and finished about 9am.  As I walked back to my car near aqwa, I noticed an old lady feeding the cats....she musta had 10-15 milling around her waiting for her to open the tins of food!

I didn't have much luck when I went earlier in the week.  i'll be giving it another go later next week i reckon.

that mote of them can breed. They will have to change the name of Aqwa to Carqwa. I wonder what would happen to the marine life, etc if the cats got into Aqwa.

First of all, those darn rock cats mate i couldnt agree more they are that annoying i was fishing there yesterday and they tried to get into my bucket while i turned away.

Secondly, i went down with my mate and we were fishing away then he casted over me and didnt realise, of course it got tangled so we went down to the lower rocks to untangle it and eventually did but my line was tangled on the rocks aswell!

So i was trying to retrieve my float (as i only had one) and in doing this i dropped my rod into the water as i slipped and got half my leg soaked from a wave, the guys next to me were just laughing away no help or anything at all lol.

But!!! To make it worse and to my horror i was cutting the line off as it was tangled and then my rod slipped and fell underneath a huge rock half submerged in water and slippery as!!! Took me about 10 minutes to think of a way to get under there and eventually did luckily the rod was still there!!

All in all i got into a nice feed of herring when i got home!

can you guys let us know next time you are going down to hillaries, i might come down with a few beers for a laugh hehehe.

yeah one day i will join you on a fish down there, might come down soon and stock up on some herring for bait, yeah i will bring some shark trace and ballons instead of the trap

i tell ya those cats are soo annoying. i was fishing there one day and i had three lamb hearts in my bucket and when i went to bait up, i saw a cat nick off with one of my hearts!!!!
its not such a bad problem at the tip of the wall as long as you keep your stuff in your view
