Blue Devil
Yeah, caught a few of those in my time, both around rotto and down here. They've always been caught on our boat around a lot of bottom structure in shallowish water (<40m). Never though of keeping them Russ - beautiful looking fish. Might have to reconsider that after what you've said.

Cheers Matt
Don't why, but I would be reluctant to keep one, maybe because when they come out of the water, they are such a pretty fish. If I did, it would want to be a decent size.

filleted
I have filleted and eaten one, amazingly white flesh and pretty tasty, not very much on them though as they are such a small fish. The one in picture is a pretty good sized one really. If I caught any in future they would go back, rather beautiful fish.

Would love one or two small
Would love one or two small ones for the aquarium - hard buggers to catch!. Stunning looking fish underwater and good fun to feed. I couldn't eat one though.

Agreed Pete
With those 'neon blue' fin tips, they'd look tops in an aquarium.

No good
They dont do well in aquariums the temp needs to be kept dow for them so they just stress out turn white and die within a short time...better where they are for the divers to see in their natural surroundings
To all the virgins..............Thanks for nothing!
