I have one of those Carolyn, 12' 7 wrap "Fish Striker". Beautiful rod, coupled with the new 6500ssm. Lovely rod, running 6kg line on it, total gem. One of the first "name brand" rods i ever bought and off the beach, one of my favourites for fish up to 5kg. They usually have extra guides in the top 3rd of the rod just to help keep the line with the blank when they get a bend up.

I know its been posted before, but thats a great shot of the rod there.

Was after a low mount model for the hubby was wanting to save a couple of bucks seeing as i just ordered myself a Brand New Daiwa Sensor Surf.

i agree with brett..... great rod... i have 2 off them... but match it up with a penn 8500ss with 10kg line..... good outfit, im sure your hubby will be more than happy with it when you get one for him....
