New Years at Steep Point ??

Hi All I was wondering if anyone out there wants to go to Steep point for New Years ?
I was thinking of getting a few people together and going up around the 29th - 30th and coming back
around the 3rd or 4th.
Or I am open to other dates around the end of the year or early next year.

you would want to book your
you would want to book your spot on the point as it gets very busy around that time of year i recommend take a boat in and camp in the bay that is very good and not as busy.

I am with Italiano, as I have done may new years trips up to the point. Very windy very hot including tempers of some not so nice fishos that get posessive over a silly piece of rock or the ones that try to barge in on youre piece of silly rock, none from thisa site i'm sure(but good fishing). But yeah if ya got boat, camp at the shelter bay and go from there but again its like the hay street mall at that time of the year.
PS; did I mention that its good fishing but.
