Piave P2200 road racing bike, full Ultegra gear set
Well it's gathered dust for a year now and shoulder won't let me cycle long stretches haunched, so it's going to go so I can get a quality mountain bike with a better seating position for me.
Bike is an Italian made Piave P2200 road race, full Shimano Ultegra gears, brakes and sets. FSA light crank, MODE light wheels and loads of carbon on it. All components 2005 models
BIKE IS VERY LIGHT!!!! under 9kg!!!
done less than 500km and cycles like a dream.
Perfect for weekend road warrior or even triathlon competitor.
Gets better mileage than a Priuse ...
$975.00 and thats firm no deals etc, as I need That for the bike I want to replace it with. This bike sells new for over $3000!!!!! now

Are you sure that the Piave
Are you sure that the Piave are actually made in Italy? I'm not. What is the frame size? Is that Ultegra 9 or 10sp? I may know someone interested, and I could pass on the details.

Piave frames
I checked out the Piave at Cycle Torque in Launceston, they said Piave is new to Australia, set up by a guy who has worked in the bike industry for some time. The frames are made in Taiwan and are specced quite well for the dollars you pay -- the road bike on the floor was just under AUD$2,000, and was well equipped with STI shifters and 105 drivetrain. Ritchey wheels and headset. Nathan has sold two of them so far, and the owners seem to be happy, he said. Ok for an entry-mid level bike, I suppose.
Seems some of the bike is assembled in Italy and final pieces assembeld localy, so sorry i was wrong, not totaly Italian...lol
but then 99% of all bike frames these days are made in China or India or Tiawan,,,,
