Tim's KIngy

Only bite of the day and only fish of the day. (Except for a tiny Red Snapper I released)

Hard work out there for very little reward.

Still, the conditions were great and I got to see a dolphinfish up close. Thanks Tim. Next trip will be better for sure.Wink

You forgot the black bum we got as well. That doubled the catch.

Was plenty of people at the weighin who struggled out there today as well. That current was still ripping through out there.

That would be us.

However the truth be known it was the fad that caught us, or should I say a brand new Rapala that someone had obviously cast or trolled too close to the fad. The lure must have been dangling off in the current and as I set the sea anchor as we passed the it caught onto one of the ropes and then twisted itself around the fad. We finally pulled it in and there was this lure band spanking new with about a metre of wire attached.
So there you go we owned up to catching the fad, but who wants to own up to casting a big Rapala (gold coloured) with a metre of wire plus a bit of line at the fad? Wink

Cheers

The truth comes out Andy!

I hope no pics were taken of the offender hooked up to the fad thinking it was a yellow fin tuna or should I say a "yellow floating treasure"

But it was a sight as Tim was busy subduing his YTK whilst I was holding on to grim life to the sea anchor trying to get us untethered.
Unbelievable!Laughing
