heading down there again tonight, hopefully better than last friday.

im only going to take the small rods, im just wondering if its better off to stick with the north wall, or have a look at this reef spot on the southern wall?

Depends on the wind

If the seabreeze is not soo strong it would be worthwhile taking a bigger rod and having a go off the walls behind AQWA with an unweighted mulie. I was told that there were a few decent tailor being caught there.
If you are talking about boy in a boat reef about two thirds of the way down the south wall it would be worth a go bit you want to be able to cast out as far as you can. A big piece of squid might be worth tossing out.
Let us know how you go. All the best, Colin Hay

Ben from Compleat Angler Joondalup was telling me that they are catching squid in the evenings on the lower jetty opposite from Aqwa. You might be able to get some nice fresh bait to toss out.

I read some reports that suggested that there have been a few fish around those Groynes lately. But as Steve said, you have to watch the weed.

Try the river

You might have to fish near the old brewery in the Swan. Easy access and you can get some good fish there.
