Water temp down . I was hot using semi dry ( to old to get cold). There honestly is bugger all shells. Iam waiting for guys up city beach way or Lano to start getting them in pots before I put mine out . I did notice seaweed flowers few weeks away prior to flowering . Nature doesn’t lie

Few others I know done same . Up north a little way away they got there first whites in pots. Normally means 7 to 10 days away for us down here
