Snapper from Sunday

Went for a quick fish on Sunday arvo. I got 1 macky about 9kg and my Pa got a Snapper of 80cm. Both fish on lures off a bait ball in 20mtrs of water. We called the snapper for a tuna at first because it stayed deep but was very surprised when it popped up boatside.

Red and White deep diver
Was definately a first for us. We are thinking that there must have been a few smashing into that bait ball.
I think will be trying to target more on lures in the future especialy if the fish are schooling up.
